LOEWE MARINE

Hans Buch Marine, one of Scandinavia’s biggest maritime firms, has joined LOEWE MARINE’s international network of representatives. Hans Buch Marine is a division of Danish industrial company Hans Buch A/S and operates service facilities in Copenhagen (Denmark), Rotterdam (Netherlands), Singapore and Houston (USA). The company supports the global maritime sector with NAV/COM services and a comprehensive range of premium shipbuilding products. Its partner portfolio includes many renowned maritime-sector companies, such as Raytheon Anschütz, Ingersoll Rand and Netwave Systems.

“Hans Buch Marine is a respected company with a long history in the maritime industry, many innovative providers of green technologies in its portfolio of partners, and service facilities in Rotterdam and Copenhagen, which we can now access. That’s why this new partnership fits so well with our own strategy of delivering efficiency-boosting solutions that help our worldwide clientele to conserve resources,” explained LOEWE MARINE CEO Carsten Löhmer. “Bringing together the respective expertise, resources and networks of our two companies will greatly enhance our ability to flexibly meet market demand for our complete ‘bridge-steering engine-rudder system’ package in the newbuild, refit and repair markets,” Löhmer added.

Hans Buch Marine’s Sales Director, Carsten Larsen, is equally optimistic about the two partners’ prospects together: “LOEWE MARINE impressed us instantly, and we are confident that our Scandinavian customers will also be impressed when we show them how LOEWE’s innovative products can help them boost their ships’ performance, including by dramatically slashing their fuel consumption and saving them many thousands of euros.”

For LOEWE MARINE, the new partnership opens up the opportunity to expand its “one-stop-shop” offering in the newbuild, refit and repair markets. “Whether we are talking about consulting, design, , production, supply or installation, LOEWE MARINE can serve as a single point of contact right across the board, which eliminates the inefficiencies associated with coordinating projects among multiple providers,” Löhmer said. “That’s why ship owners and shipyards stand to benefit from our custom service solutions for rudders and steering engines of all makes and sizes.”
